We are delighted to announce that Bluebird K7 will be part of the procession in the Lady Mayor’s show on November 8th 2025.
We will be a part of The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers section who’s theme is “The Jet Age” and what better way to celebrate and promote the spirit of the Jet Age than by showcasing Donald Campbell’s legendary Bluebird K7.
Restored by the Bluebird Project, after the fatal crash in 1967, Bluebird K7 stands as a powerful symbol of human ambition, innovation, and engineering brilliance, a true testament to the era when speed, technology, and courage pushed the limits of what was thought possible.
The Lord Mayors Show is the oldest and longest civic procession in the world and dates back to the early 13th century, and is held to celebrate the inauguration of the new Lord Mayor of the City of London.
The event marks the formal journey, or “procession,” of the newly elected Lord Mayor from the City of London to the Royal Courts of Justice, where they swear an oath of loyalty to the Crown.
This year we have a new Lady Mayor, Dame Susan Langley DBE, who is only the third woman to hold the post in over 800 years, and the first ever to be titled “Lady Mayor of London”
